5 Days. 5 Protests.

Since the passage of Prop 8 on Tuesday, thousands of people have been protesting in California every single day of the week.

Here are my photos from protests around the Los Angeles area…

DAY ONE: WEST HOLLYWOOD

Authorities say seven people were arrested in a sprawling, hours-long protest against the likely defeat of California’s gay marriage ban that blocked several Los Angeles-area streets.

We can’t fight if we’re invisible.  The more people that come to these rallies, the more press we get, the more people we draw next time.  Let’s make this happen.

See you all on Nov. 15th?  (and plenty of you in the meantime!)

what with everything going on.  On the bright side, I’ve clocked in between 15 and 20 hours of shouting and marching.  So that’s gotta count for something?  ðŸ™‚

  1. How else can I help?  I can’t leave the bedside of my mom, who is 87.  Otherwise, I’d already have been there at the protests.  If Mom could march, we’d both have been there!

  2. last night on KO he showed videos of the protests. He said that the ACLU was filing to contest this and that their case looked good. Do you know id this is true? What do you feel are the chances of getting this knocked off as unconstitutional?

And we just decriminalized cannabis in small amounts. There’s plenty of housing available and we can always use more intelligent, creative people.

    Great seafood, too. 😉

Like the song says – ain’t no time to eight. ;-);-);-)
