Friday Distractions

(midnight. – promoted by ek hornbeck)

For those who know that to “Yell Louder” works, I recruited one of my fish to show you how it`s done properly.

I hope these images give you a little respite from your daily grind.

  1. I put these up for your enjoyment (I hope).

I answer any questions & all comments, but these are for you not me.

If you`ll notice, all images are “Green Themed”

    Thanks, & have a safe & healthy week-end.

  2. But I’d rather not be underwater when those fish start yelling!

  3. Don’t know which to comment on at the moment, comme je suis amoreuse de tout!

It’s so nice to become acquainted with your “underwater friends” — they, too, seem to have their own personalities, as do all of human life.  And, then there’s the above water guys — I just don’t know!  I love them all!

    Thanks, mon copain!

have started to sketch again, ie, play according to the idea in Betty Edward’s book “Drawing on The Right Side of the Brain”.  (exercise to let the right brain have its due during the day!)  anyway, it just dawned on me it would be fun to sketch these photos.  transfer of one energy to another!

but i need to ask if it is okay. i’m not drawing for profit, just as exercise– the space-between-the-space, negative space, contour.  but if you’d rather i didn’t, okay!

too much leafy herb makes your eyes all woogey!

    thanks knucklehead!

as always ALL are fine shots.

    Happy Saturday to YOU!

Yes, I noticed the green theme, and how soothing green feels.  The other vivid colors are exciting.  Anyway, thanks again, Knucklehead, for an most excellent respite.

We just watched an amazing documentary on the work of Andy Goldsworthy.  I keep thinking about the possibilities he opens for relation with nature.  This image was created entirely out of leaves he collected.  He calls the center a black hole, one of his dominant themes:

    Photobucket

One must see the documentary to get the full power of what he is doing.  All his art is ephemeral.  Here’s a clip from Rivers and Tides:

    Here’s another longer one.

You feel as though you’ve touched the heart of the place.

  4. Thank you sir, for the promotions you`ve awarded me, today & in the past.
