The future….or part of it, of our energy systems.

The Iraq War….a war for oil….will cost us WELL over two trillion dollars by the time (if ever) it ends.

What would happen if we spent that money …TWO TRILLION DOLLARS!!!…..on alternative energy research? Instead of spending it to …in essence…obtain Iraqi oil for the the Oiligarchy to sell to us?

Solar, wind, wave, geo-thermal….solving nuclear safety problems, even research on fusion. Let’s put our money into that….instead of killing people to steal their oil….

Gore is a true reflection what has gone wrong with our education system. We replace competence with a superiority complex. What a pity that we waste a lot of our best talents by listening to a demagogue who radiates self-righteous elitism.

how many solar panels we could’ve built for the cost of all the pavement we’ve put down in this country to accomodate the internal combustion engine. I doubt we’d need a drop of oil.

add to that about 10 years give or take.

Invest that into ANY wacko wayout but technically feasible project you have in mind and you will achieve it in spades. Remember the Manhattan project?

Anything. Energy independence. Colonize the moon and mars. End cancer.

Or you can replace the worlds longest running democracy with the worlds largest war state.
