In the comment section of my last essay, I let a cat out of the bag.
I’ve been writing op-ed pieces that have been published by Truthout.org. To date, they have published five of my op-ed pieces. You can read them, if you wish, on my facebook page.
While it is still uncertain, I was asked by the editor’s of Truthout if I would be interested in writing for them in a regular column. Of course, this is still something that is a maybe, and, might occur in a month or two. But, you can understand my surprise at even being asked.

As you can see, while I haven’t been posting as much here at Docudharma, I do still let this site be my place to rant. That is one of the great things about this site, the ability to discuss things that you can’t in other venues.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this new column at Truthout happens, and, if it does, you can bet that I will address very important issues just as I have tried to do in my op-ed pieces.
If it doesn’t happen, I’ll still post here, and yes, rant a bit in the process.
Keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck!

And congratulations again! I hope for you that it works out and they make you a regular there, and hopefully it will be paid writing? I’ve always been impressed with your writing all the way back to a few years ago when you were posting some great diaries occasionally at Talkleft. Keep up the great work!
I trekked over to Truthout to see what you’ve written, since I don’t have a Facebook account, and it’s very good. Well written and important. Keep it up.
BTW, I just read the essay where you discuss the video and “rules of engagement.” Very well done — plus your knowledge and experience adds a greater perspective even still. Hard to believe that there has been even one naysayer to this “murderous” event by us.
I hope very much that the “seed” becomes “fruit!”
