Remember helplessly white-knuckling the back seat during the Bush years?
It seemed that every value we held dear was being trashed to the point where we wondered what life itself meant. Those were the days, my friends. Those were the days.
Perhaps, we all should have heeded Assrocket’s appraisal of Bush, who to his mind was:
A man of extraordinary vision and brilliance approaching to genius, he can’t get anyone to notice. He is like a great painter or musician who is ahead of his time, and who unveils one masterpiece after another to a reception that, when not bored, is hostile.
Lo’ and behold, Bush’s final masterpiece from his incontinently inter-continental abstract efflux period,
an un-schooled expressionism that exhorts adherents to “kick some expressionist ass” by “giving-in to your inner psychopath!” So powerful was the movement, it’s the sole philosophy of today’s GOP, with many interested Democrats, including the Blow-Out-Preventer-in-Chief, cottoning to the purity of the appeal.
Now, having been wrong all along, being obsolete, it is truly time for us to build for ourselves a new learning curve in accordance with these new wave values.

Larison (?) wonders why Robert kagan has recently been kind to Obama’s foreign policy. Larison, you ignorant slut: Just kidding, but get real. His daughter is on the verge of the fricking supreme court. Jumping Jehosaphats.
Bush was a visionary, to be sure. He saw an America that would collectively snicker at those on the wrong end of social class. He smirked at the idea that he was torturing and jailing thousands in secret prisons. He liked it and showed that he liked it because he is and was a moral degenerate in the most fundamental sense. Now, millions of Americans are following in his footsteps–we have millions of George Bushes and their numbers are growing. Narcissistic and neo-fascist to the core who see life as all about power and domination. Devolution is galloping and an astonishing rate.
