It`s Friday again, time to temper my anger with a sharing of some of my images from my reef tanks.
You may have noticed that my images are often of a same specimen.
I liken that to taking more than one picture of your cat, dog, bird, lizard or child.
Every image is a close encounter with what one loves doing with the loved ones one does it with.
I titled this diary with “memorial days” not because I want to have anyone remember these specimens, but for you to remember the days the authorities wanted you to forget.
They want you to forget how much oil was spilled.
They want you to forget how much was hidden, by the use of toxic dispersants.
They want you to forget the harm they`ve done.
And they want you to forget, they`ve been trying to make you forget for years.
Well that will not happen. There are too many who will always remember.
Just reading through the blogs, we can see that there are Gulf Watchers everywhere.

and thats why the next item on their agenda is to shut us down. Im alarmed at the recent stuff Im hearing re Net Neutrality.
kudos are in order for such a great opening statement. Yeah, the corporate noose media seems to be singing BP’s new mantra, which, translated reads something like, “There’s nothing to see here, folks, so just go on home.”
As alluded to in one of my earlier essays, the BP-media cabal will follow the well-worn, time-honored playbook of the typical active alcoholic. First deny, then minimize, then rationalize, taking each additional step only if and when absolutely necessary. The minimization phase was still in full swing at that time, i.e., May 1, 2010.
Yeah, the corporate sock puppet media will soon determine that the story no longer of interest to its recipients and try to replace it with some sensational news story, like something about a new Tiger Woods love child or the most recent escapades of Britney Spears or Paris Hilton, casting them yet again in roles similar to that of the rodeo clown.
The photos are all stunning, so I won’t even attempt to pick any favorites, however, are the Marine Betta, the bullseye shrimp, and the coral banded shrimp new, or am I just not remembering them from earlier posts? Several, like the hawkfish, goby, and tomato clownfish, now look familiar.
Like certain other fauna that are sometimes considered to be pets, do you have names for some of your creatures? Do they seem to have individual personalities? Is it easy or difficult to determine the gender of your marine friends? And, are there visible signs of the aging process?
Yep, BP is doing everything it possibly can to bamboozle Americans and the world, really.
How imbecilic they think people are. I doubt seriously that those in other countries believe a word of BP’s propaganda and, I would think a great many Americans don’t believe it either.
It is just too incredulous to think that 5 million barrels of oil spewed into the Gulf over a course of some 105 plus days would all but disappear. BP has fired some 30,000 clean-up workers, they are planning to keep a skeleton crew — basically, getting ready to shut everything down — move on!
In the meantime, scientists/oceanographers will be probing the Gulf columns to find the missing oil. Once found, who will clean it up? BP will probably deny that it is the oil from Deep Horizon and demand proof, etc. So, then what?
Everything is so good, BP, Halliburton, etc. are on the rebound.
