Even the early beatlemania fans scared me as there is nothing scarier then large crowds of pubescent fanatics going into mindless hysterics and ecstasy over the object of their shared insanity. I once went to a Bay City Roller’s concert in LA and the waves of energy from 14 year old girls all going berserk was really frightening they all stamped there little feet and I thought it was an earthquake. Triggered a panic attack as when humans go into a collective frenzy it’s like a out of control force of nature coming at you. The Beatles were however the real deal and their art and message was the sound track of ‘think for yourself, girl’ and then into gimmie some truth. 4 guys who managed to get rich and popular enough to get some art and truth out there. If only Obama was the Beatles.
