Two straight days of a two anda half year old has quite worn me out! I’m off for a long nap. I thought I’d better quickly put something together before I go, just in case I sleep longer than planned…

the story:
the aviary was finished yesterday & was moved upstairs in front of the window(now completely finished w/moulding!). Me & the boy decorated with sticks & bamboo and some silk ‘mysteria’ flowers… I was transfering the birds from the little cages to the new, improved aviary when one escaped. I wasn’t worried as they are not hard to catch. that’s when i found out MrD&son left a screen off one window…Aaaaargh! the bird escaped!
I feel so bad- my daughter had just given me that bird at thanksgiving 🙁 i haven’t told her yet
MrD sent me & the boy to the pet store today to get three more birds. 🙂 Now I have eight!
