The Lakers advance to the the Western Conference Final, waiting for the winner of Hornets/Spurs, which is tied at 3 games apiece. Game 7 is tonight.

I know Detroit is the better team but I am not ditching the Pens now who I thought would win in six not five. Detroit has more depth at defense even though the Pens have been surprisingly adept at that. Osgood and Lidstrom has been in a final before as have many other team members.
And. Sticking with Boston only because I declared in the closet sized office I share with several other people that Boston was going all the way about a month ago. Kinda hard to evade a public declaration.
Got my first sunburn of the year on arms and legs ( wore hat and sunglasses ) even WEARING sunblock after paddling around the lake for two hours yesterday.
…but not feeling too bad. They gave us some great games this playoff run. Yeah, the end was disappointing, but we’re kinda used to that. 😉
I still can’t buy into the Pens for the finals, whichever team comes out of the west. Pure cussedness, I guess.
