Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is the founding member of AE911Truth.org. He has been a practicing architect for over 20 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed steel-framed buildings.

Mr. Gage became interested in researching the destruction of the WTC high-rises after hearing the startling conclusions of a reluctant 9/11 researcher, David Ray Griffin, on the radio in 2006, which launched his own unyielding quest for the truth about 9/11.

I had ONE dispute with an admin here, with full good intentions to suggest there may be room for reasonable doubt.

Not only my content, but all of my front pagers, who all regularly graced the FP of this blog, have been suddenly and completely ignored and not since seen one FPing.

I raised money for this blog and budhy, both at my site and here, I have supported DD like a second home; both myself and my admins have never seen the light of day since…. despite the other admin’s reassurances there would be no retributive actions.

Number of Americans killed on 9/11:

2,819

Number of Iraqis Killed by us since:

1,366,350

Number of Afghanistanis (that they admit to, anyway) killed by us since:

17,806

So, we have killed One Million, three hundred eighty four thousand, one hundred fifty six people, give or take in two countries because nineteen men from countries OTHER than these two committed a crime:

Fifteen Saudi Arabians, two from The United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt and one from Lebanon hijacked planes.

1,384,156 – divided by – 2819 – equals – 491ish people killed for every American killed.

Kill an American? We take out 500 people from random unrelated countries until Al Qaida becomes a franchise wherever our terror is sold.

Here’s an easier way to think about it:

1000 for every 2 of us.

And all our drones and smart bombs target “terrorists” like those above. The civilian price is CHILDREN, god damn it.

Can you imagine if someone killed a million and a half of us?

Why should the Middle East NOT hate us?

Its kind of nice that we have homogenized the ancient rights into cardboard cut outs, inane one size fits all cards, when you consider the ancient alternatives. And there is no aphrodisiac quite like dark chocolate and red wines, which are better than having to ingest a bit of human entrails to become a wolf for 9 years to honor Lupa. Entrails can be so stringy, and the pieces stuck in your teeth? Total turn off. Yep, chocolate is a definite improvement. There are some rituals that have gotten worse, though. Watching all the village men run totally naked through town whipping their female audience playfully with soft sheep thongs as they trotted by might have been more interesting than, say, another shmaltzy Lifetime Channel made-for-tv romance movie. I suppose that depends on what the men in your particular town look like. Strange, what we do.

Seriously. The things human do to get laid.

Now, now. I’m not a total cynic. I mean, really, the fact that we indoctrinate the smallest of children into giving these love symbols to everyone in their classes, while desexualizing the holiday completely, yet keeping the symbols of love and fidelity says something. I’m not sure what. But something. Maybe it doubles their chances of getting laid later in life, either by Tom or Mary. “Hey, I still remember that card you gave me in 2nd grade. I liked it. Can we get naked now?” Its all good, you know. Heh.

Wait. That was still cynical, though entirely amusing. Let me try again. It is in fact, a reminder that relationships take work. It is good to focus on the needs of your partner and appreciate one another. Although I cannot think of anything that is quite the cocktail blend of salt peter and cold shower than “talking about ones relationship.” C’mon, even the girls know “Lets talk!” registers a cringe factor in men that no low cut blouse can overcome. Heh, they cannot see your cleavage with their eyes rolled back in their head. Besides. Love doesn’t happen by mandatory “Dates” or corporate definition. It happens in spite of it. Guys, pick your underwear and socks up off the floor; women, yeah its winter but shave your damned legs anyway. Say something nice to one another. That will work better than a card. Honest.

Better to forget all the contrived Hallmark Holiday symbols. They are confusing at best anyway.

Look at poor St. Valentine, always marrying the other people, signing his letters to a love unrequited, dying alone and virginal. Or murdered. Who knows? Its not like there is only one version of the story. But not one of them has him getting some.

Come to think of it, poor Cupid too. I mean, what good is living perpetually as an asexual baby, having to inspire love with the stroke of an arrow and never even have the parts to enjoy the spoils of love himself. It seems the stars of the Holiday are always doing without. Maybe that’s to make all the poor schmucks not getting any feel better.

I hope Cupid finally scores. And whatever Spring fertility ritual you choose to partake in, I hope all of you do too.

Look how happy he looks. And she surely looks sated. See? Even Saints and Angels need lovin’ too!

Friday afternoon I adopted a puny little Dracaena plant. Like most businesses these days, we have a firm that comes in and “manages” the plants in my restaurant, replacing them as they inevitably get damaged. I actually did that as a side job for a while, after my greenhouse days. So, in talking to the plant tech ladies, I told them I would take any plants they were just going to toss out.

Hardly a news worthy event, and yet, it reminded me that I haven’t brought a new plant into this house in years. No money to blow, and nowhere to blow it if I had some. Another sign of the decline is that there are no longer greenhouses in every burg. It used to be you could find tropicals and exotics within a half hour of anywhere you stood. Even Home Depot only has seasonal greenhouses any more for outdoor planting in the summer. Sad. The obvious answer is people just don’t have elective spending money to sustain the industry. The less obvious answer is almost amusing in its technology-backfires-yet again way. Plants die in new houses like this:

One of my friends bought a McMansion on the golf course nearby, and spent a huge amount of money to have his entry way atrium filled with plants, all which died almost immediately.

He was baffled. He replaced a few, then kept trying different plantings. When this came up in conversation, I explained how Low-E windows work and told him he would have to install full spectrum lighting to let them live, he was livid.  He did as most people do: Gave up, bought some tacky statue and threw in some plastic plants.

“You mean they build all these houses with atriums, that cannot possibly support plant life?”

Uhhh, yep. Exaaaaaaaactly.

In the land of living behind closed doors and windows for at LEAST 5 months a year, houseplants used to be a huge industry for the oxygen bestowing factor, let alone the calming effect of having green softness inside against the cold harshness outside.

No more. People breathe dead, perpetually recycled air half the year. Their windows save them money, but cost them life giving rays.

Doh!

Before the McCain/Palin ticket co-oopted the word and bastardized it into meaning “we follow the herd mentality of the Bushites and so should you,” the word rogue already had a bum rap.

Even in the dictionary, I had to go to definition 11 before I got to the definition that, to me is the very basis of the word; from which all other derogatory definitions fall:

Why is this the basis of insult? Why is this a bad thing? I love this definition.

Lets face it, I am a total sucker for nonconformists. Real nonconformists, not ones who take the guise of another pack mentality to appear nonconformists. I have always admired those who really think outside the box. The ones they call loners, crazies, misfits.

Therein lies the true genesis of genius.

Go straight for the mescaline if he saber rattles Iran.

One square of Mr Natural blotter acid if he talks of war in Yemen.

One MDMA if he speaks of “Israel’s Security.”

Tap a vein for street heroine if he claims “Success” in his first year.

If he blames liberals? Just shoot your TV’s.

Posse Comitatus: The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain “law and order” on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress.

When Herr Bush tried to force Louisiana to hand control of their National Guard as hostage for Federal assistance and they said “No,” the PTB were enraged at being thwarted. Another way needed to be found. You see, legally, nowhere does it say “except where expressly authorized by the President.”

So, Herr Change, continuing the non-change of the Unitary Executive created a loophole. Having the brightest mind at the helm backfires, when that mind is in service for the very forces that oppress us.

Enter Executive Order 13528.

If the President cannot command the use of State Guards, he could always create a body of Governors to do so for him.
