This is my home, this is where I need to be, and now, they might want to ask me about starting a national program from an idea I had.

“Obama Is Governing from the Far-Left”
(Cross-posted from The Free Speech Zone)
WASHINGTON – The glow from a health care triumph faded quickly for President Barack Obama on Sunday as Democrats realized the bill they fought so hard to pass in the House has nowhere to go in the Senate.
Speaking from the Rose Garden about 14 hours after the late Saturday vote, Obama urged senators to be like runners on a relay team and “take the baton and bring this effort to the finish line on behalf of the American people.”
The problem is that the Senate won’t run with it. The government health insurance plan included in the House bill is unacceptable to a few Democratic moderates who hold the balance of power in the Senate.
Oh yes, such a fuckin’ “lefty” that Obama eh?

The Twilight of Class War
(Cross-posted from The Free Speech Zone)
As I write this, the assessment of what the Health Reform Bill has in it and what it provides is still being looked at, however there is only one thing that even the liberal news outlets don’t deny is in the bill yet they seem to not see any problems with this.
The plan calls for those who may suffer “hardship” to be waived from being responsible to purchase a health plan. I picture many middle-aged liberals sipping their wine at their computer chairs thinking it covers all those that aren’t them, you know, the ones whose kids get “free lunch” at their children’s school.
Well, this is not the case.

Liberation Technology: Known Secrets From The Millenial Generation
(Cross-posted from The Free Speech Zone)
Recently I’ve engaged in and stumbled upon various things all over the internet that, when pieced together, have potential that is endless if not restricted by certain factors.
Sometimes it’s our laws that restrict the access to the information we seek, other times, it’s our inability to use the vast array of programs and applications that can allow us to carve our own little place in the world wide web.
In respect to the latter, there have been a number of places that have attempted to make the internet easier to customize your own little space on it, “cookie-cutter” platforms that allow you to customize the appearance fairly easy, but you’re still chained to the platform’s format (Wordpress, Soapblox, etc.).
Outside of those, you usually need to learn javascript, CSS, or html to get what you want made.
However, there are “open-source” platforms (not commercial and for use by all) developing that are trying to bridge the gap between full customization of your own personal professional-grade website and the skills you have (or more likely don’t have) to use it.
For example…

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is urging Americans to come to Washington, D.C., next week to roam the halls of Congress and lobby lawmakers against the House Democrats’ healthcare reform plan.
The strategy aims at resurrecting the momentum Republicans enjoyed during the August recess, when many critics challenged their members of Congress on healthcare reform. Since then, Democrats have regained their footing and have captured some political momentum to pass a bill.

She said the plan on Thursday afternoon will be to walk through the House office buildings to look for lawmakers: “We can walk through Cannon, Longworth and Rayburn [office buildings], walk through the Capitol …”

The Open Letter I Wanted To Write To The Generations Before Me
(Cross posted from The Free Speech Zone)
I want to thank all the generations before me for electing the government representatives we’ve had since 1980 and for the great wealth you’ve left us in your wake that gave us the economic stability we have today.
Your selfless pursuits around the world to make it a better place have shown the world who you truly are, and they have rewarded us for our actions.
I appreciate you taking to the streets to demand that your children and grandchildren have government sponsored single-payer health care. Now we get amazing free health care thanks to all of you.
When you took to the streets for the $4 Trillion in funds that you forced your government to put up for future generations in order to pay for our government sponsored health care, you single-handedly stopped the government from using those funds to bailout a corrupt and irresponsible Wall Street.
Today, you’ve given us a nation to be proud of and I’d like to thank your for that. You proved that you would not sit back and watch as both party’s sold out our future.
Thank you so much for all you have done for our generation, you truly deserve the title “The Greatest Generation”.

PARTY SCHISM!!!!!!
(Cross-posted from the Free Speech Zone)
WASHINGTON – After a half-day of animated debate, the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday rejected efforts by liberal Democrats to add a government-run health insurance plan to major health care legislation, dealing the first official setback to an idea that many Democrats, including President Obama, say they support.
