Meta: what brought you to Docudharma?
I am curious to learn how my fellow Dharma Bums came to learn of Docudharma and why they enjoy participating here. What do you like and dislike about our little dysfunctional family? Where do you originally come from in Blogotopia and how the hell did you end up here.
I followed Buhdy over here after lurking on that Orange site for a year. At first I lurked, than I got more involved and started writing. Authors like Meteor Blades and Devilstower got me hooked, and I fell in love with the work of Buhdy, Ek and One Pissed Off Liberal, to name a few. I am still a bit of a blog virgin (1st year), but I believe my scope of ideas has grown tremendously over the past few months.
Ideas. Ideas are why we are here. Otherwise I could just let the TV pre program my multi-media reeducation and drink the cool aid with the rest of the sheep. Not me. I use the term sheep lovingly. Those people are still plugged into the Matrix. I hope that by Yelling Louder I, and together, we, might wake them up.
So, how did we get unplugged from the matrix, and how do we unplug others?
By sharing ideas.
Tell me your ideas. Share. It is how we grow and learn and Progress.
Why are you here?
What is your goal, your hope, what would you most wish to achieve in your time here?

The House Intelligence Committee asked the CIA to provide documents about the now-canceled program to kill al-Qaida leaders, and agency officials said it would comply with the request, congressional officials said Tuesday.

The House request for documents is likely a precursor to what would likely become a full-blown investigation into the secret operation and why the program was not disclosed to Congress. Panetta, meanwhile, has ordered a thorough internal review of the program, agency spokesman George Little said.

Dick’s daughter Liz might be interested in running for office. “It’s something I very well may do,” says Liz “Mini Me” Cheney.
Contact AG Eric Holder and The White House to demand a Special Prosecutor to Investigate all aspects of the Bush/Cheney Administration today.
Contact Congress today and ask them to support H.Res 383 and a closed rule so that open public investigations of Bush/Cheney and their policies can begin in a special committee in the House of Representatives.

During WWII American soldiers went into the German towns and forced the towns folk to look upon the horror and suffering that had taken place in their midst. They were not permitted to look away. They were forced to see what had been done by others such as they.
Today in America we need to do the same thing. Please watch this video and then e-mail it to someone else. We can not allow crimes such as these to go unpunished.
If we do not investigate the Bush/Cheney Administration, we cease to be America.

H.Res 383 – Demand Accountability for 8 years of Bush/Cheney (Action!)

If you don’t support warrantless wiretapping, The Patriot Act, torture or any of the other high crimes and War crimes committed by the Criminal Bush Junta you might be interested in H.Res 383.
H.Res 383 was introduced by Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA9) and is designed to act as a Congressional oversight bill that would establish a select committee to review national security laws, policies, and practices. Better yet, this committee would have power of subpoena.
If the House Leadership pushes this bill and the House Rules committee allows for open hearings and gives this bill a closed rule barring amendments, we could well be on our way to full investigations of Bush/Cheney and their policies crimes.
