Since I am sluggy today and a bit dreamy, I thought I thought I would indulge in a bit of fantasy and share a few men whom I wish were bringing tea and soup. Of course, I have my little “on line crushes” how one can engage in politics without a bit of harmless flirtation is is beyond me.

Although my husband is always number one, he won’t openly admit who secretly thrills him. He isn’t the type to ogle. I suspect he pines a bit for Isabella Rosselini which only confirms that he has good taste, even though I bear absolutely NO resemblance to her.

My brain is a bit fuzzy. I know from past experience OTC cold medicines don’t work. Is it too early in the day for a “hot toddy”?

I am feeling all retro today so I am going to cheer myself up with oldies but goodies.

I have a cold. I am cranky. I want to know why I have to get sick on my days off. Blah. Blah. Life is not fair.

I think I might have already coughed out my creativity in the form of sticky snot.

According to this Yahoo!News article, the Pentagon has opened up ‘military only’ air lanes to accomodate increased holiday travel…

Bush called holiday travel “a season of dread for too many Americans.” He said the problems with delayed flights are “clear to anybody who’s been traveling. Airports are very crowded. Travelers are being stranded and flights are delayed, sometimes with a full load of passengers sitting on the runway for hours.

“These failures carry some real costs for the country, not just in the inconvenience they cause but in the business they obstruct and the family gatherings they cause people to miss,’ the president said. “We can do better.”

There will also be changes in staffing and allocation of resources that will focus the FAA on getting planes to run on time, planned for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  [no surprise that no other ‘holidays’ were mentioned by name, is it?]

….ALMOST makes it seem like they care…..

Today is “America Recycles Day”

…ok, so i usually do the a.m. pony parties on the day before, and auto-publish for 9 eastern..

…and, i DID that yesterday…only to find out that the interesting story i was discussing was probably not true….

…and it’s after midnight….and im tired…and ive had hella day finding out both that rose probably needs wrist fusion surgery and hannah probably needs jaw lengthening surgery….oh, and my wingnut brother’s birthday celebration wherein he opined at length about Keith Olbermann’s “cluelessness”….and a basketball practice thrown in for good measure, wherein the 2 male coaches continued their ‘pissing contest’ for dominance (because we all need complete authority over a group of 12-14 year-old-girls, right?)…

so, here’s your frigging pony party….enjoy!!   😉
