Disabled veterans facing eviction

08/10/2010 – A local non-profit that provides a home for dozens of vets is behind on its mortgage payment and if money doesn’t come soon, the apartment complex could shut down leaving many of its tenants homeless.

For the last five years, the local charity has been providing permanent housing in Northeast Albuquerque for mentally disabled vets who otherwise wouldn’t have a place to live. Now, the organization is $160,000 dollars behind on its mortgage and in danger of shutting down.

Thirty-seven mentally disabled veterans call the apartments home. Some of them used to be homeless.

A never ending, and usually unknown by those soldiers being tested, fact of the Military as they have extremely easy to use subjects where results can be turned over to the private sector for profit {especially in these times of private contractors and what’s already surfaced as to}, in the many cases over the years this has taken place on many issues, some still unknown and even denied happened.

In this first blockquote, and if in the U.S., think of all that you’ve read or especially heard since the three outlets, the Guardian where this comes from being one, helped bring out what the online Wikileaks had obtained and posted simultaneously.

One disappointed paper deliberately provided the Taliban with a to-do list: it drew their attention to specific Wikileaks documents they might inspect in order to take reprisals. The low point was perhaps reached by Channel 4 News, which respectfully quoted a “spokesman” for the bearded murderers, as he uttered promises of revenge on alleged informants. It felt like PR for the Taliban.

This is just the recent but think back these years and all read and heard or watched, this is what a big part of recruitment looks like {and rise of hatreds and thus blowback}, add in the killing, maiming, destruction and creating refugees from their homes and country,  and add in while in theaters demeaning those that live there and their neighbors and not only in theater but across this country many doing same!

I just can’t think of anything more to add, as not only myself but many others have stated over and over thousands of times in these years, to the three reports and link to the study then are stated within them!

Army Health Promotion, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention Report

July 29, 2010 With suicides at an all-time high, the U.S. Army released a report today blaming “a permissive unit environment” for high risk behavior.

“For some, the rigors of service, repeated deployment, injuries and separations from family resulted in a sense of isolation, hopelessness and life fatigue,” Army Vice Chief of Staff Peter Chiarelli says in a letter accompanying the report.

And not with just one amendment but Three of them, which we All know they would have walked in lockstep in voting for!

Not only do they not want their pimps, the wealthy, the corporations, whoever else they get on their knee’s for, to pay for veterans issues, and more, but they keep trying to Cut VA Budgets by millions while pushing Defense and their Wars of Choice Spending to the limits!!

The following link just popped into my e-box, a quick search didn’t bring up another just yet, wondering if the FOX and company will be outraged, or even report on this as they wave their flags and yell patriotism meme’s, they’re patriotism definitions!
