I am curious to learn how my fellow Dharma Bums came to learn of Docudharma and why they enjoy participating here. What do you like and dislike about our little dysfunctional family? Where do you originally come from in Blogotopia and how the hell did you end up here.
I followed Buhdy over here after lurking on that Orange site for a year. At first I lurked, than I got more involved and started writing. Authors like Meteor Blades and Devilstower got me hooked, and I fell in love with the work of Buhdy, Ek and One Pissed Off Liberal, to name a few. I am still a bit of a blog virgin (1st year), but I believe my scope of ideas has grown tremendously over the past few months.
Ideas. Ideas are why we are here. Otherwise I could just let the TV pre program my multi-media reeducation and drink the cool aid with the rest of the sheep. Not me. I use the term sheep lovingly. Those people are still plugged into the Matrix. I hope that by Yelling Louder I, and together, we, might wake them up.
So, how did we get unplugged from the matrix, and how do we unplug others?
By sharing ideas.

I got the real estate for this short time, so I’m gonna put meta on the front page. Oh, the thrill of power! Oh, the temptation to abuse it and then … the sweet surrender!
Heh.
There’s personal blog enemies and then there’s the blog political opposition and sometimes the two overlap.
Personal blog enemies smear your character, challenge your honor, try to bait you into swerving from your topic! Oh noooooooo!
It’s a test of character to have these kinds of enemies.
And these are the enemies that are most difficult to deal with when it comes to political opposition. They will take the side of Hitler rather than agree with you! Yeah, breaking Godwin’s law, yeah, I’m edgy.
And this is part of politics, sometimes I think it’s ALL of politics. It’s so personal.

I would like to start an ongoing series of diaries that provides new information on the crimes of the Bush/Cheney administration and the need to investigate and prosecute those crimes, but I can not do it alone, and I need someone’s help.

Investigate and Prosecute Bush/Cheney
Now that Torture News Roundup has been discontinued for the time being I would like to carry on the hard work of Meteor Blades, Valtin and Patriots Daily News Clearinghouse.
This will be an ongoing series of diaries detailing the evidence of criminal behavior engaged in by the Bush/Cheney Administration as well as the need to fully investigate and prosecute the Bush/Cheney Administration. I would like to find two or three other diarists who want to contribute to this series on a rotation so that we can keep others informed on a daily basis. Recently the series Daily Torture News Roundup at Daily Kos was discontinued. I would like to carry on this fight, but I do not want to dairy the subject seven days a week.
If I can find 3 – 6 diarists who will rotate this series with me and crosspost here at Docudharma and on the Daily Kos. We can keep the issue in the news, and this will keep the issue on the forefront of priorities instead of just moving forward and pretending it is not there.
Suggestions for a name of this series are appreciated, or any other help you can provide. Any questions or suggestions are appreciated, and may be asked in the comments below.

What has made Docudharma special has been the mandate to be excellent to one another. When this blog first began, the users contributed some terrific writing and friendships were formed. It has, for many, been a place of refuge with the opportunity to present ideas in a welcoming and genteel atmosphere that was, for the most part, unique on the Internet.
