Bob Johnson: Welcome, Shoggoth!

Dear Friends,

It has come to my attention that Bob Johnson, a stalwart Democrat heretofore unknown, indeed unknowable as a political shrinking violet, has succumbed to the ululating horror.  The world promised to him in the murals was found to be uninhabitable.  He was last seen entering the Mouth of Madness in the Maelstrom of Irrelevance.  He begs the planners of the next proposed Antarctic expedition to stay away from things that should not be loosed on this Earth.  Please consider contributing to his undying cause of cracking Bill Kristol on the beak.

Welcome to the Two-way Mirror Mountains!  Welcome to the Agony!   Welcome, Dread Shoggoth.

  2. …. but I concur, if you’re losing Bob Johnson, you are in a world of political trouble.

    But what about Rex?

  3. I thought he was deploying the irony again.

    Huh.

  4. To me it is much more stunning than Bob’s.

Dem leadership won’t be able to put the toothpaste back in the tube. They’ve lost the trust. So much (good or bad) is possible when you have trust. It is so hard to get trust in politics. Obama had a huge cache of trust. All squandered.

  5. I also cannot believe what the Supreme Court just did.

To most people it’s probably a minor news event to mull over. For me, it’s one of the most shocking decisions in Supreme Court history. It means that politics is now completely hostage to corporate wealth.

These friggin bastards always respond with the bs that always equates corporations with labor unions; that they’ll also be able to spend freely. Ya right—–

I feel teacherken’s frustration. We now have all three branches of this rotten tree sagging to new lows. I now believe this tree will fall over and die. It will be a slow death, but die it will. You know when you hike in the forest and often see dead trees partially hollowed out from rot? The tree is there but nothing’s inside.

after 1103 comments. 609 rec’s and 2 HR’s and from two of the usual suspects. Bob has not commented since the diary and that has now been removed I do believe that was Bob’s GBCW to Dkos. How sad if it is.
