Death Throes of the WCMPS



I have been writing about the White Male Christian Power Structure that has run America, well….since it began. And yesterday, about how they maintain their control of our government: Does Anyone Still Doubt Our Government Has Been Bought?

How, though, do they get elected? They GOT elected by appealing to “The Base.” They got elected in olden times, because by far the majority of Americans identified as White Christian Males or lived in the households of White Christian Males, under some degree of Patriarchal control. The WCMPS base was nearly all of America. Nearly all of the Americans that were allowed to vote, anyway.

In recent history though, as America began a demographic shift, and even more importantly, a shift of consciousness, away from the rigid value system of both patriarchal and race and religion based thinking….they have had to work harder to hold on to their political structure. THEIR “Identity Politics.”

And they use “Useful Idiots” like Hannity, Rush and O’Reilly to enforce their Identity Politics. Idiots that through their Dog Whistle rhetoric, whip up a fear based hatred to motivate The Base to become politically active. In a ratio of participation that far out strips the General Population’s political involvement. All based on hate, intolerance and fear.

Not that I have to tell YOU that, you just lived through the last eight years too!

Building a Post White Christian Male Power Stucture

In a recent essay …Breaking The Taboo: What We Face On Every Front I published this very telling quote:

This essay too is taboo, this essay speaks an awkward, uncomfortable truth. This essay is controversial. This essay speaks plainly of something that is not easily spoken about. This essay will contain more caveats than I have ever written! (except for the last one!)

For I place this essay before you today not to condemn a subset of humanity, not to say that they are evil, not to call for their heads, and certainly not to condemn every person reading it who shares any of the characteristics of the subset in question. I share them myself.

If you are reading this and yet do share some of those characteristics…you have probably been fighting your whole life to defeat…..”it.” Yet, it will probably still sting. You may feel a sense of shame, but I say to you now, with all of the honesty I can muster after examining my heart and conscience, I do not write this to shame you.

You may what I am about to write and you are about to read… ‘insensitive.’ You may even find it insulting. You may become angry. The words on this page may make you feel…..a certain way. Which is why they are taboo. But they are, to the best of my ability to perceive it, The Truth. And though I take full responsibility for writing them, I do not take responsibility for how they make you feel. I did not make this Truth. I just have the temerity to set it in print.

As the subset I am writing about often are heard to say….I apologize if what I say offends you in any way.

Breaking The Taboo: What We Face On Every Front

Making America America

Warning: This post is racist. It contains stereotypes and generalizations about a certain racial group, in order to try to depict and describe my view of the world as it is. But I certainly do not believe nor wish to imply that all members of that racial group conform to the generalizations contained herein, as I hope I make clear below.

America has never really been America. That is to say the vision of America spelled out in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence has never come into actual being. An America of equal opportunity, freedom, and justice for all.

There has always been Two Americas! At the highest potential it has ever reached, there have been three Americas. The third being the Middle Class, now an endangered species. America has never REALLY practically been about the ideals that were espoused in our founding documents. Coming out of and rebelling against a monarchal system made it necessary to spell out some stark differences between what America was under the  British Monarchy and what it aspired to be. The Founders needed to lay out their ideals, in reaction to the tyrannical reality they inhabited, some goals of what they thought an ideal society would be. Being intelligent men, they knew that merely signing a piece of paper with these goals written upon them would not transform instantly into the realization of those goals.

They were obviously counting on future generations to realize those ideals.

Like…us.

America was FOUNDED as Two Americas. The rich white male “Christians” (Christians must be put in quotes, since several of the Founders, most notably the author of the Declaration, Jefferson, had rejected conventional Christianity in favor of The Enlightenment, which explains the, btw, explains the inclusion of the radical concepts of equality and justice for all.) ……………….and everybody else.

Rich white male Christians founded America and rich white male Christians have ruled it ever since. Not surprisingly given human nature, rich white male Christians have used the power of their elevated position as the sole class of citizens allowed to hold power by other rich white male Christians to benefit, protect, and permanently ensconce the rich white male Christian power structure. When non-rich, non-white, non-male, non-Christian persons or people have attempted to gain power or wealth, rich white male Christians have seen this as an attack on them and reacted accordingly…and often quite violently.

This is not a thing of the past, despite the fact that white Americans seem to think so.

Yes, Bill, the far left DOES want to break down the rich white male Christian power structure. Why? Because we BELIEVE in these words:


We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (AND women!) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.….

The United State of Denial

Objective observation of the current politics and populace tells us that here in 21st century America, there are two ideas that take precedence above all else. Both are myths. Both are ideas apparently more important than any facts, logic, proof, evidence, or demonstrable reality.

The first is that America, no matter what it does, how many crimes are committed in its name, by its duly elected officials, is the good guy, the cowboy in the White Hat. Photobucket

America lied its way into a illegal and immoral war of aggression for no reason other than the greed and lust for power of its political and economic leaders. The majority of the American populace went along for the ride. America tortures. America exploits migrant workers while condemning them and punishing them for our reliance on them. The list goes on and on.

And the whole of the list of American wrongs that are not wrong because they are our wrongs, exists for one purpose above all others, to bolster and enable the second myth. (Which of course makes them ultimately the same myth.)

The myth that the Christian God created America to serve ‘his’ purpose, and selected white Christian males to work ‘his’ will on earth. Thus can they do no wrong. Thus are their wrongs….not wrong.

This myth is so woven into the fabric of American culture and belief that it is invisible to most. It is not spoken of, except in rare slips of the tongue such as this exchange between O’Rielly and McCain from last year:

O’REILLY: But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you’re a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have.

The most destructive consequence of this myth is America’s surety that they are entitled to this God-given American lifestyle. This is what ensures than even in the face of facts, logic, proof, evidence, and demonstrable reality that the ‘American lifestyle’ is destroying the planets atmosphere and, ultimately, the “lifestyle” of every living thing on earth, their violent denial will continue.

When it comes right down to it, that is the myth that prevents any REAL change in America. How on God’s Green Earth do we fight that?
