Give the Candidates the MLK Test w/poll!

On the day after his birthday celebration, and with the argument over his legacy going on amongst the big two Democratic candidates, perhaps it’s a good time to look at how MLKjr might look upon the Democratic candidates.

Let the New Hampshire recount begin! Nevada SC rules against Dennis: The corps win again! w/poll

As we know, election integrity has been a talking point for the Democrats since the debacle in Florida in 2000.  And it reared it’s head in 2004 with the debacle in Ohio.  Now, in 2008, it’s popped up in New Hampshire.

Go to SC w/me to work for John?

I’d filled out the little form online to say I could go to South Carolina and work for the primary on behalf of Edwards, my choice for president, but I didn’t expect they’d need me.

After all…I can’t pay for my accommodations, and can’t do a lot of walking or standing. But today someone from Edward’s campaign staff in SC called, asking me to come to volunteer –asap.

A Candidate Diary

Fourth Time Is The Charm!

After a long stretch of not actively endorsing a candidate, I have decided to come out both guns blazing for the one man who will ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY bring bold change to the White House, our nation ,and indeed the world, should he be elected. NONE of the other candidates can bring the perspective and unwavering, steadfast position of this fine, noble and no longer upstanding example of commitment to principle, values, and the working man of America.

My candidate is a man of values, both religious and social, a man of literally lifelong experience in foreign and domestic policies. A man who has proved time and again his willingness to take on special interests and vast corporate and business powers to advance the interests of the working man and the middle class, no matter what the cost to his own aspirations. He has been long…very long… an outspoken opponent of America as an Empirical power in the wold. An untiring and relentless candidate, he has a solid track record of walking his talk and of putting what he believes in above any petty political calculation.

Dennis wins suit: Here’s why NBC/GE want him off the stage!

NBC/GE is holding a presidential debate in Nevada tomorrow, January 15, 2008!  They had invited four candidates to the event, as all of them had met NBC/GE’s criteria for the event.  The four candidates were to be JE, HRC, BO and DK!

If you want Universal Health Care, vote Kucinich!

And so we see the field narrowing again!  John Edwards appears to be on CNN’s not viable list.  My advice to Edwards and his supporters:  Be like my candidate, Dennis Kucinich!  Fight the bastards every step of the way.  And while your at it, embrace Dennis’ call for Universal Health Care!  ðŸ™‚

Classy: NBC disinvites Dennis Kucinich to 1/15 debate after publicly inviting him! w/poll

Well, the big three only supporters have their wish.  The January 15 debate will now be a three centerist candidate confab!

Kucinich asks for New Hampshire recount in the interest of election integrity

Dennis Kucinich is asking for a recount of the New Hampshire primary!  Due to the discrepencies which exist, such as hand ballots running by 4 points for Obama and scanned ballots running for Hillary by the same amount.

Medical Elephants

While the campaign pundits frame health care exclusively around the single issue of who pays there are several other unmentionable elephants in the room.

Oh, it had nothing to do with a known neurotoxin.

With the new advances in genetic testing proving “you will get” disease X,Y or Z will insurance comanies deny coverage.  Do you see a marked increase in the promotion of medical screenings?

Marketing study. Pick up any woman’s magazine. Count the ads dedicated to drugs, along with the legal disclaimers in number two font. Can you throw a rock toward the next CVS?

On this next one I’m just going to give you the Google keywords

Bill Frist+immunity for big pharma

And thus begat it’s ugly cousin

HIPPA and medical records “privacy”

Does that include those guys over in India who process your denied claims?

Now the obvious answer is to require people to buy health insurance just like mAssachusetts did.

I do, I have a 5000 per year policy and they routinely deny claims using a systematic basis. Zero information is available about what is and what is not “covered” beforehand, you don’t get that until the benefit denial statement.

Now are you really scared yet?

Think I’ll go eat worms

My candidate lost last night!  I’m so depressed, I can barely function.

I guess the voters of New Iovadalina just don’t get it.  Spineless bastards must have lied in the pre-primary polling.

The only reason we lost is because the other guys outspent us three to one.

The only reason we lost is because the media likes the other candidate better.

The Primary Season, the Way of Politics

(Crossposted)

There are many things we encounter in the Primary Season. Too many to recount here.

So I will use the law of three, and recount three.

Opposition. Need. Reconciliation.

We encounter opposition, we generate opposition, we oppose others, sometimes we oppose ourselves.

We address needs, we point to needs, we have needs, sometimes we create needs.

We, eventually, consider reconciliation.

More, over the fold.

Kucinich: It’s up to us to reclaim America! w/poll

It comes down to this.  I support Dennis Kucinich.  I don’t support HRC.  I don’t support Obama, Bill Richardson, Mike Gravel and I don’t support John Edwards.
