The AFA just gets more and more afraid to allow commentators to say her or his piece.
The started out allowing anyone to post a comment, but the comments got too intense for them, and likely too litigious for them, so they stopped allowing folks to post directly.

The impetus for this post was a most unlikely subject. I’ve been recently deconstructing my own uneasy feelings towards disgraced NFL Quarterback Michael Vick. My partner, a native of Philadelphia, is a huge fan of the Eagles professional football team and is thrilled at the its recent success with Vick at the helm. When the dog fighting revelations surfaced, I admit that I wanted to see him banned from the league for life. Instead, Vick served nearly two years in jail, filed for bankruptcy, missed two full seasons, and was blackballed from his original team. His stunning return to form was highly unexpected. And as much I try to be a forgiving person, I simply cannot extend it to a player who is nonetheless a strong candidate to be eventually awarded the National Football League’s Most Valuable Player for a most impressive season.

Over at FireDogLake.com, you’d better not post anything too critical of Israel. Moderator and abuser of power Rayne will probably step in to disrupt the thread, issue threats, and order people to cease asking questions she doesn’t like.
Rayne’s latest round of abuse began when truthexcavator posted an entry on what turned out to be a five-year-old news article about an israeli soldier acquitted of murdering a 13-year-old Palestinian by filling her body with enough bullets to drop a charging rhinoceros. Truth made the horrendous mistake of comparing what Israel is doing to palestinians to what the Nazis did to Jews during the Holocaust.
I was shocked when I heard about this story, but I am less shock of the verdict by the Israeli Army. I’m passed the point of getting mad at Israel. I don’t even think of it as a country anymore. I wish it was a country because the Jewish people deserve better. But it’s not a country, just as Nazi Germany wasn’t a country.

Is it chickens or is it eggs? Is it that Governor Brewer’s immigration extremism gives cover to Nazis? Or is it that Neo Nazis give cover to the ugliness that is SB 1070? Is it that Joe Apraio was thought to be as extreme as anyone could be, but people have emerged in Arizona who are even further beyond the Pale?

Minutemen groups, a surge in Border Patrol agents, and a tough new immigration law aren’t enough for a reputed neo-Nazi who’s now leading a militia in the Arizona desert.
Jason “J.T.” Ready is taking matters into his own hands, declaring war on “narco-terrorists” and keeping an eye out for illegal immigrants….
But local law enforcement are nervous given that Ready’s group is heavily armed and identifies with the National Socialist Movement, an organization that believes only non-Jewish, white heterosexuals should be American citizens and that everyone who isn’t white should leave the country “peacefully or by force.”…snip
But Ready, a 37-year-old ex-Marine, ,,, and his friends are outfitted with military fatigues, body armor and gas masks, and carry assault rifles. Ready takes offense at the term “neo-Nazi,” but admits he identifies with the National Socialist Movement.
“These are explicit Nazis,” said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Project. “These are people who wear swastikas on their sleeves.”
And so, today, running around in the desert where it’s dangerously hot are a bunch of heavily armed Nazis. And Sheriff Arpaio continues to humiliate immigrants while failing to prevent crime. And the Governor of Arizona continues to insist that SB1070 is not preempted. And not racist. And a waste of money.
My revulsion overflows. I’m not advocating violence. I’m just noticing the strong, negative feelings all of these creeps evoke. I hope that the people of Arizona will find a way to be free of these demagogues.

Another man (looks like Galeener ?) is saying to the camera, “You ought to be ashamed of yourself. God is going to put you over his knee and spank your butt. isn’t it unfortunate that when you walk thru the Pearly Gates, God’s going to say, you get to go thru the other gates here to hell. ”

Simcox known for embezzling thousands of dollars from supporters to build a “border fence,” the Minutemen PACs still solicit money for this activity but send the money to a company in Texas that does voter caging. (that’s not on the video, that’s my prior research. The Minutemen campaigned with Tom McClintock in CA 04 in 2008, and did a rally with him in Sacramento on the state capitol steps. He called for mass deportations and all federal funding to be cut off to the city of San Francisco. ) The videographer for McClintock that year, which did the swiftboating videos against the Democrat Charlie Brown, orchestrated by the Republican PR firm of Russo Marsh & Rogers and Move America Forward, was an ex Minuteman member. Now Russo Marsh/MAF do Tea Party rallies for McClintock, besides bus tours for Sarah Palin. How do you like that coincidence ?

It is based on what I observed, heard, and photographed, as well as what I found by researching. I had proof that there was a Minutemen and racist component to the campaign, which was ignored by the MSM. McClintock literally rolled down the street in Lincoln on July 4th, in a Minuteman and Mormon Battalion Mexican War themed float with a Christian flag flying over it.
I was just gobsmacked that this Republican candidate is parading down the street in a float that has General Winfield Scott on it, who forced the Cherokee from Georgia to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears, and the Latino people who were watching it were just gobsmacked that it’s got the Minutemen and the Mexican American War symbols on it, and they’re speaking Spanish in front of me because I have a camera, and I look, frankly, like I’m too blonde that day.

Just like in the July parade, Tom McClintock wanted to be provocative when he stood there on the State Capitol steps early last month (Sept 2) during the “Minutemen” rally and called for the Federal government to cut off funding for San Francisco. And for the Federal government to deport millions of people. There was a giant sign parked down on the road which says “Build the Wall, Deport them All,” the loudspeakers are playing some sort of dreadful screed about how people of Native American Indigenous ancestry have to perform a blood sacrifice when they reach adulthood, and are secretly plotting to turn California and the American southwest back into the Aztec state, “Aztlan” (this is the same stuff I’ve seen on the Council of Concerned Citizens site ) and then the group of teenaged kids in white dress shirts and dress pants and some sort of red satin sashes show up with the big “Save Traditonal Marriage” Sign on the sidewalk. They hopped in a van and drove off when they realized they were being recorded for posterity.It was pretty surrealistic.

The article says that this network of anti immigration groups is not so much grassroots as astroturfing being done by John Tanton and Numbers USA. Richard Mellon Scaife family foundations has been funding these groups, along with the McConnell Foundation, the Shea Foundation, the Weeden, Salisbury, Smith Richardson, Blair, and Sikes foundations.

This is how I concluded it:
I see there is some skepticism about the link between McClintock and these extremist groups concerning a “guilt by association” of an old endorsement by the KKK. Some people do not think this is relevant, others think it a distraction. So I’m posting my observations on this relationship, reluctantly, because I don’t want to give Karl Rove the satisfaction of driving the dialogue here . But this subtext of forced removals of the “others,” based on their supposed cultural inferiority, as being justified by a Higher Power, and therefore the Republican candidate is the “Right One” has been running all thru McClintock’s campaign for CA- 04.Mercifully, I see a lot of people in this district are finally starting to reject the use of these wedge issues. I would hope the national level Republican campaign, based on what I’m seeing at McCain’s events, could come to grips with the fear issues and stop trying to scare people into voting for them.
But I also want to emphasize that we here in the district not imagining things when we say we see a relationship between the creed of the KKK and the campaign theme being used by McClintock. This side of the aisle is rejecting the use of fear to divide us and ostracize us from each other.

While the example of the Nuremberg Trials is used often these days to describe what prosecutions might look like, few seem to remember that the prosecution of war criminals after World War II was much larger and took place over a longer period of time than most people realize. This is important when one considers the context of President Obama’s granting of immunity to lower-level CIA interrogators (if they acted in “good faith” upon “authoritative” legal advice).
What even a cursory examination of historical precedent demonstrates is that after World War II prosecution of war criminals and accessories to war crimes were not limited to the famous Nuremberg 22 high-level Nazis, nor the few hundred or so prosecuted through the Nuremberg tribunals, but thousands of accused throughout Europe.
What follows is a brief lesson in how these prosecutions occurred, who was involved, and where and when they took place. It may surprise you that the United States, for instance, has an Office of Special Investigations (OSI) at the US Department of Justice. Its mission was to hunt down war criminals and bring them to justice. Established only in 1979, the OSI has a sterling record:

Associated Press has a story up on the ongoing hunt for Nazi war criminals. The Simon Wiesenthal Center releases periodic lists of top war criminals from the Nazi era still at large. Despite the Wiesenthal Center’s one-sided apologetics for Israeli crimes against the Palestinians (all sides have engaged in atrocities), we should pay attention to their efforts to bring Nazi war criminals and their collaborators to justice, even decades after their hideous crimes took place. Such efforts should also make Bush and his cronies start sweating, for reasons I will make clear.

It’s the impressions from a picture thing again. This man actually enjoys it, a reincarnation of a torture master out of the Spanish inquisition. Some twist of Satanic fate leaves me with the distinct impression human suffering gives this man sexual gratification.
Most of the time the evil impressions only come the first time I see it. Alberto Gonzales, John Yoo, Leo Strauss were among the evil minions. This time I have seen his picture before yet this particular one emanates and evil more powerful than Gonzales. I would like to think of it as a developing asset, a useful tool in sizing people up. Preparation for the future crisis.

Garfield County Colorado, Tom Shiflett, 62, father of ten endures SWAT team raid, needs a new front door and was terrorized at gunpoint.
Why? Because he refused medical care for his son.
